We do not verify contractors
We do not inspect or verify the licensing, certification, insurance or competence of contractors. We expect contractors to represent their qualifications, insurance and experience accurately, but we do not check that they have.
Before any work begins, you should request and sight:
- a current certificate of currency for public liability insurance, in the name of the business attending;
- relevant arboriculture qualifications;
- a written quote setting out the full scope, including what happens to timber and green waste, whether the stump is included, and who is arranging council approval.
Verify those with the contractor and, where applicable, with the relevant licensing authority. A referral through this site is not an endorsement, a warranty or a recommendation of any contractor's competence.
